Scientifically Driven Peels + Advanced Customized Facials
My favorite facials to perform, as they deliver visible, overnight, dramatic results. A must for my clients with breakout prone, aging skin or uneven skintone concerns.
My advanced facial treatments are performed with PCA Skin (Physicians Care Alliance) products. These treatments address a variety of difficult skin conditions on a deeper, cellular level, using scientifically driven, and results oriented formulas. Though not an "all natural brand", PCA Skin uses the cleanest ingredients that are found naturally in the skin and body. They use research and science to develop safe, highly effective products that deliver healthy, beautiful skin. This is accomplished while maintaining a deep respect for human health and the environment. All finished products are tested in clinical trials, with patients in their medical practice. They do not perform or condone animal testing, and all of their products are free of synthetic dyes, mineral oil, lanolin, synthetic fragrances, petrolatum, phthalates.
Skin conditions that can be addressed with my Advanced Treatments include grades I and II acne, hormonal breakouts, fine lines and wrinkles, skin laxity, environmental damage, dull skin, uneven skin tone, hyperpigmentation (changes in skin tone due to hormones, acne, or sun damage), pseudo folliculitis (razor bumps on men), rosacea, and deeply dry, dehydrated skin.
Unlike many peel and peel alternative treatments, these treatments and peels are specially formulated to address skin conditions in all skin types including dark and sensitive skin. In these advanced treatments (except for the chemical peels), I offer two customizable treatment options in 60 and 90 minute increments.
Within these treatments I use a combination of modalities including a deep pore detox gel which helps to clear the skin of pollutants and toxins, leading to a brighter and clearer complexion, especially in break-out prone skin, using an active blend of antioxidents, lactic, glycolic, and salicylic acids to exfoliate and promote a purified and clear complexion. Different mask options include ones for clarifying, retexturizing, hydrating and revitalizing the skin, using super active, therapeutic ingredients.
To obtain the skincare goals that are discussed in your consultation, a series of treatments, as well as a thorough at home daily care regiment is usually necessary. These treatments require the participation of both parties involved, myself the clinician, as well as you in your day to day skincare responsibilities. I share the same vision as PCA Skin, which is to improve people's lives. Working together, we can accomplish your skincare goals!
Please take a look at the before and after pictures below. These are photos are untouched and taken by a client. These pictures were taken over a two week period after two Advanced Facial Treatments--one week apart, and a full line of PCA products (approx. $300 retail for three month supply including cleanser, 3 correctives, moisturizer and SPF).
My Scientifically Driven Peels
I offer several different peel options dependent on your skin type, condition, allergies, and skincare goals. PCA Skincare is a true industry pioneer, as they were the first to provide these products to the medical and clinical aesthetics markets 25 years ago. Their peels are viewed as the gold standard in the industry.
My peel options can soften the appearance of surface lines around the eyes and nasolabial folds, improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, help promote a clear complexion, fight acne, smooth skin texture, even skin tone, plump and hydrate, brighten, strengthen, and fight hyperpigmentation. I offer PCA's modified and enhanced Jessner's peels, TCA and lactic acid blended peels, and 4% Retinol Peel, which all address sensitive, ethnic, mature, breakout prone, hyperpigmented (both from hormonal and sun damage), and uneven skin tone conditions.
With PCA's different blends of peels, I am able to offer peel options to clients who previously would not have been candidates for chemical exfoliation procedures, such as rosacea, sensitive skin, and ethnic skin. All chemical peel prices include a 3-5 day at home post procedure kit, however it is advised to begin a PCA Skincare regiment 7-14 days prior to your first treatment. These skincare options can be discussed in detail during your consultation, and I am always happy to put together a trial sized kit with the different products that we agree will address your skincare goals.
This consultation includes a 30-minute facial in which we will talk about your skincare goals, as well as your skincare history. After which we can discuss treatment options and set an appointment for your first in a series of peels.
PCA Peel modified and enhanced Jessner's Peel softens the appearance of surface lines around the eyes and nasolabial folds, helps promote a clear complexion, smooths skin texture and evens skin tone. This peel is especially beneficial for oily skin. This blend combines AHA with kojic acid, with a modified Jessner's solution to address uneven skin tone from sun damage and hormonal changed. AHA and melanogensis inhibitors suppress the chain reaction responsible for the creation of new melanin. The first modified and enhanced Jessner's Peel was developed and made available to physicians in 1993 by Margaret Ancira (founder of PCA Skin).
Sensi Peel (TCA) is formulated for all skin types. It is an exceptional choice for ethnic skin or those with extremely sensitive skin types. This TCA and lactic acid solution offers skin smoothing, melanogenesis inhibition, strengthening and hydration to many who previously would not have been candidates for chemical exfoliation procedures (e.g. rosacea).
Ultra Peel I (TCA) is a blend of TCA and lactic acid with the addition of phytohormones for plumping and hydration. It is an exceptional choice for darker skin types and mature skin. Kojic and azelaic acids act as antibacterial agents, as well as melanogenesis inhibitors. L-ascorbic acid is present for skin strengthening and brightening.
I charge 100% of the cost of the service for all no shows, and require a credit card deposit to book all appointments online. If you are having trouble booking an appointment using your card, or book over the phone, I require pre-payment of the service, which can be made via a secure email invoice, or in person at least 24 hours before your appointment.
